Cascais

Finally the last pics from Portugal! Every post of my trips can be seen by clicking on Travel label up at

the right.

At last weather was great one day so we could go to the beach in Cascais. It's not far away from

Lisbon, just half an hour by train and it really deserves it. It's a lovely quite place, at least before crazy

days of summer haha The first thing we did was going to the beach to get some sunburnt. As you see

there are no big beaches but they are really beautiful and full of charm. Though the sea was really really

cold I took my first swim of the season!

After relaxing below the sun we went for a quite walk at the village that's so charming with all its

colorful small houses, it's a relaxing pleasure walking through its streets. The little marina is so nice and

is very well maintained. Then we found a castle???house so excessive for me... Anyway it was curious!

Isn't it? Haha When we were returning we found by chance "Marechal Carmona" Park that is so

incredible. It is huge and full of vegetation and details all over it. I'd like to have more pics to show but I

was so lazy and relaxed I just wanted to enjoy the moment. Now I'm a little bit regretful so probably I

won't do it the next time.

¡Y al fin las últimas fotos de mi viaje a Portugal! Podeis ver todas las entradas sobre mis viajes

Finalmente, el último dia de mi visita hizo dia bueno bueno de playa y pudimos acercarnos a Cascais...

Está cerca de Lisboa, a una media horita en tren y la verdad es que merece la pena. Es un lugar

precioso y muy tranquilo, aunque supongo que a medida que se vaya acercando el verano habrá cada

vez más movimiento. Nada más llegar, fuimos a tomar el sol, como veis no hay grandes playas, si no

calitas llenas de encanto. Aproveché para darme el primer baño de la temporada ;) Fue genial aunque el

agua estaba bastante fría!! El Atlántico... :D

Después de tostarnos un poco al sol dimos un tranquilo paseo por el pueblo como podeis observar es

encantador, con todas sus casitas bajas de colores, da gusto pasear por sus calles. El pequeño puerto

deportivo es super bonito y está super bien cuidado. Un poco más adelante en nuestro paseo nos

encontramos con una especie de casa-castillo??? Para mí un poco excesivo el tema... Jeje Pero no deja

de ser curioso. Y ya casi a la vuelta y por total casualidad, dimos con el parque "Marechal Carmona",

increíble. El sitio era inmenso y lleno de todo tipo de vegetación y de detalles por cada rincón.  Me

gustaría tener más fotos para enseñaros pero estaba perezosa ya... Super relajada solo quería pasear y

disfrutar del momento. Ahora me arrepiento un poco, me servirá para la próxima vez! Jeje

Porto

I've already spoken to you about the life, light and colour Lisbon has HERE and HERE... Well, even

though Porto is a much more quite city, it wins the color golden medal! The color game of the city was

so impressive and wonderful although the weather wasn't the best (it was claudy almost all day as you

can in the pics) In fact, I believe they created a different ambient ;)

Our day started walking through the old city center, incredible and the streets were so nice: really

narrow and full or flowers and charming. Besides there're a lot of beatiful squares with nice

monuments.

After lunch we met some friends from the city who took us to the other side of the river, from where we 

could enjoy the hole city beauty. First of all we went to a nice hotel were we drank a glass of the

famous Porto sweet wine beneath the sun and then we had dinner (you can see on the pics) while

drinking a delicious Sangría made with Porto wine, I had never tried it before, but It's a really good mix

I'll definitively try to make at home ;)

After that, we saw something that for me is the greatest thing about the hole travel around Portugal, I

was speechless... The vista of Porto reflected on the river at night...

Next day, a quick walk and going back to Lisbon.

Ya os he hablado de la vida, la luz y el color que tiene la ciudad de Lisboa AQUI y AQUI... Pues si

bien Oporto es una ciudad mucho más tranquila; en cuanto a color: ¡se lleva la palma! A pesar de que

no pillamos los mejores dias  para conocer Oporto (como veis, estuvo todo el tiempo nublado) el juego

de colores en la ciudad es impresionante y precioso! Creo que de hecho, las nubes, también sirvieron

para que las fotos tuvieran un "toque" diferente.

Comenzamos el dia conociendo el centro histórico de la ciudad, como veis, es increíble y la callejuelas

prefiosas: estrechas y llevas de flores y encanto. Se mezclan las calle super estrechas con amplias plazas

llenas de monumentos.

Por la tarde quedamos con unos amigos de la ciudad y nos llevaron al otro lado del rio, desde donde

pudimos disfrutar de la belleza de Oporto en todo su esplendor; primero a la luz del sol disfrutando de

una copita de vino dulce de Oporto y después tras una deliciosa cena que vereis en las fotos más abajo

acompañada de sangría hecha con vino de oporto, (nunca la había probado, pero estaba exquisita! ;) )

pudimos disfrutar de las vistas de todo Oporto iluminado y reflejado en el río... Para mí, lo más bonito e

impresionante de todo el viaje, ¡me quedé sin palabras!

¡Al día siguiente, dimos un paseo antes de volver a Lisboa de nuevo!
